In this sixth session of the Hannover Comprehensive Approach to Hearing Implants Series, intraoperative monitoring and objective measurements during cochlear implantation will be presented.

Under anesthesia the patient is unable to give feedback. Therefore, intraoperative objective measurements are essential to evaluate the device and how the auditory system is working. This lecture gives an overview of the objective methods used in the Hannover Medical School as well as the clinical experience with them.
