RONDO 2
Single-Unit Audio Processor

It’s Never Been Easier
Why is RONDO 2 so revolutionary? For the first time ever, there’s no need to change batteries or manipulate switches. Think of the possibilities: Hearing without any hassles. RONDO 2 is incredibly easy to use—making it perfect for anyone who wants an audio processor that combines discreet style and care-free simplicity.
- Incredibly Simple
- Wireless Charging
- Sleek Design

Ease of Use
By combining wireless charging, a unique all-in-one design, and hands-free control, RONDO 2 is the easiest-to-use audio processor ever made. This makes it incredibly easy to use, even for users with limited dexterity or eyesight. And with a sleek, stylish design, it’s also the perfect choice for patients who want a discreet wearing option for their CI.

More Natural Hearing
When it comes to sound quality, it’s the whole system that counts. RONDO 2 uses our proven combination of Automatic Sound Management and unique MED-EL implant technology to deliver a more natural sound quality for a more enjoyable hearing experience.

FineHearing Sound Coding
In nature, the cochlea uses two types of sound coding. Place-pitch tonotopic coding is used along the whole frequency range. In addition to place-pitch coding, low-frequency sounds are also coded by rate. With this time-coding, the frequency of nerve signals is synchronized to the frequency of the sound below ~1000 Hz.
That’s why we created the only cochlear implant sound coding that mimics the natural time-coding for low frequencies and provides place-pitch match throughout the cochlea. By mimicking natural sound coding, FineHearing provides much more natural sound quality.

Peace of Mind
When it’s easy for them, it’s easy for you. With RONDO 2, you can rest assured that your patients will have a reliable, easy-to-use audio processor. There are only 3 components (processor, microphone cover, and magnet), so there is no need to replace cables or fiddle with opening the processor. This all-in-one design makes RONDO 2 both highly durable and user friendly for all ages.
