In this webinar, we will explain that optimal placement of the electrode inside the cochlea is one of the key steps in a successful CI treatment, and it is reported to bring superior hearing outcomes to CI users. Meanwhile, anatomical variations in the temporal bone and in the inner ear affect the optimal placement of the electrode, and some electrode designs just cannot accommodate anatomical variations.
