Prof. Arweiler-Harbeck will demonstrate a simultaneous bilateral implantation of two SYNCHRONY 2 CIs in a 30-month-old male patient with congenital sensorineural hearing loss. He did not receive cochlea implants sooner because he lived in a country without
access to CIs. Since he has some residual hearing on the left side, Prof. Arweiler-Harbeck and the child's parents decided to use an atraumatic FLEX28 electrode array.
